El alumno analizará el origen, la estructura, la evolución y el significado de palabras que conforman la lengua española, por medio del conocimiento de raíces latinas y griegas, así como el desarrollo de habilidades propias de la derivación y de la composición, con el fin de ampliar su acervo lingüístico.

El alumno desarrollará una cultura biológica general a través de la investigación y el análisis de problemas actuales, como el impacto del calentamiento global en los seres vivos, la pérdida de la biodiversidad, y las aportaciones de la investigación biológica para la comprensión de alteraciones en los procesos celulares, por medio de la lectura y escritura de textos, el uso de diferentes tecnologías digitales aplicadas en el proceso de aprendizaje, y el desarrollo de habilidades para el trabajo de laboratorio, que le permitan valorar la importancia de los conocimientos biológicos y tener actitudes críticas, reflexivas y propositivas ante su entorno natural y social.

Mejorar el conocimiento que tienen nuestros alumnos sobre la salud es un elemento primordial para la educación, las personas predispuestas a tener mala salud y adquirir enfermedades no son solamente los más pobres, sino también los que tienen menor educación en la salud, con este curso se concentran temas que están encaminados a la mejora del bienestar personal.
En el laboratorio de Educación para la Salud (E.P.S.) es un apoyo más para contribuir a mejorar la salud o bienestar de nuestros alumnos a través de la realización de actividades lúdicas.
